(D)1/25 '64 FORD FAIRLANE THUNDER
New rules were established in 1964 for the drag racing Super Stock class and Dick Brannan, head of Ford's Drag Racing division, wasted no time developing the Thunderbolt to dominate the class. He started with a lighter Fairlane-a common marque in the Ford line-and then reduced the weight even more and added a powerful 427 c.i. engine into it. The result was an incredible car that could sweep the class. Kit features three wheel style choices, two hood style choices, 4-speed or automatic transmission, chrome plated parts, and soft black tires.
