The German Kübelwagen was the surprisingly capable staff car of choice for the Wehrmacht throughout much of WWII. Despite being only a two-wheel drive vehicle, it ably crossed terrain even its designers didn't believe was possible. The air-cooled flat 4-cylinder engine took the Type 82 and the soldiers that drove it from downtown Paris to the doorstep of Moscow.
